Florida juniors qualify for SA Championships

Six junior swimmers qualify for SA Junior Nationals

 

Six swimmers from the Florida Swimming Club (FSC) have qualified for the South African Junior National competition.

Demi-Leigh Carlisle qualified for the SA Junior Nationals.

“This is an inter-club competition and swimmers are required to swim a qualifying time to participate in the championships,” said Tracey Hemphill from the FSC.

This year, the competition will be taking place in Durban from 21 to 25 March. The following swimmers will be representing FSC:

• Tammy Frylink (100m and 200m backstroke as well as 200m freestyle)

• Blake Godfery (100m and 200m backstroke, as well as 100m and 200m freestyle)

• Demi-Lee Carlisle (100m and 200m backstroke, 100m freestyle and 200m individual medley)

• Amy O’Rourke (100m backstroke and 100m freestyle)

• Callum Thomson (100m backstroke and 100m butterfly)

• Georgios Synodinos (100m backstroke and 100m freestyle)
