CKPS netball player makes history
Netball player through to final round of trials
A Grade 7 learner from Constantia Kloof Primary School, Makhosazana Nkambule, made netball history recently.
She participated in three rounds of the D12 trials, and was selected for the D12 team. This team will be participating in the Regional trials for a chance to be part of the Gauteng Schools team.
Her coach, Adri van Wyk, said that this was the first time in the school’s history that one of their U/13 netball players had managed to achieve this. “I am very proud of Makhosazana, and believe she will go all the way,” Adri said.
