Hillfox Cricket leagues come to an end
The cricket leagues at Hillfox Action Sports have now come to an end and will be beginning again from next week onward.
The two top cricket leagues at Hillfox Action Sports finished when the B1 and B2 finals were played.
In the B2 final, the Half Chances took on the Spiders, to crown the winner.
The Half Chances batted first and put on a fine display, scoring 38 and 35 in their first and last skins to post a total of 111 for their innings.
The Spiders got off to a shaky start in their innings, scoring only 26 in the first skin, 12 short of the target set by the Half Chances.
However, the Spiders bounced back well in the second and third skins, outscoring the Half Chances in each of the skins.
Despite not beating the Half Chances’ score in the final skin, the Spiders still managed to score twelve in the final over to take the match by three runs.
In the B1 league final, Jackass came up against What Ball.
The game was rather close after the first skin, with Jackass trailing by only three runs before they dominated the second skin.
The second skin was close yet again, but Jackass managed to claim the final skin and thus the match too.
Jackass won the match by 20 runs in the end, with Wouter Hugo scoring 21 runs to earn himself a differential of eight which made him the Jackass’ best player in the final.
