Maragon Private School’s Jemma Atkinson has been selected to represent Gauteng at the National Gymnastics Championships in October. She took part in the Provincial Rhythmic Gymnastics competition early in September and achieved a silver medal for her ribbon routine.
The young rhythmic gymnastic has been in form this year as just two months ago, she excelled at the Toccata Invitational Rhythmic Gymnastics event. She was ranked second overall in the U/11 age group.
