Jemma Atkinson, a learner at Maragon Private Schools won a gold, a silver and a bronze medal while competing in the Central Gauteng Rhythmic Gymnastics qualifiers.
Jemma achieved a first place for her ribbon routine, a second place for her free dance routine and was third overall in the Girls U/11 age category.
She also received Central Gauteng Colours and was selected to represent the region at the Rhythmic Provincial Competition in September.
