Grade 12 learners, Thabo Nyarhi, Alexa van der Westhuizen and Benjamin Pinyolo were happy they could finish their school cheerleading days with a bang. The three learners and Grade 11 learner, Kayla-Marie Posthumus, joined The King’s School West Rand ‘King’s Tigers’ to compete in the national competition.

The learners said the opportunity they were given was amazing, one they would not trade for the world. Although they were from separate schools, the team became like a family. Allen Glen is proud of its learners who made the most of the experience and brought home the gold.
