The Maragon Boys’ 1st Hockey Team played three matches at the Noordvaal Tournament in Pietersburg during the school holidays. They faced off against three teams during the tournament and managed to rank in third position. In their first match, Maragon took on Potchefstroom Boys’ High School and lost 3–1.
Emanuel Motswiri scored the only goal for his team. Maragon also faced Lebone 11 of the Royal Bafokeng and won the match 2–3. Emanuel was once again on the scorer’s sheet along with Aiden Levy and Cameron Funnel. The Maragon boys then had their last match against a development side.
Emanuel, Aiden and Cameron scored a goal each and Munashe Hakutangwi added another to win the match 2–4.
