Florida Tennis makes a racquet

Passion for tennis

Florida Tennis Club has been in existence for more than 50 years and boasts six top quality courts. These courts were upgraded two years ago when the club received a financial grant from the Lotto fund to resurface their courts. With high standard facilities, the social club has opened its doors to the community who want to play tennis.

Chairman Dennis Brown has been part of the club for 35 years and was club captain for 14 of them before being appointed chairman three years ago.

“The previous chairman was a big influence in my life and that was how I became involved with the club. Over the years the club has become my second home.

I want to carry on the legacy of the club and make sure that it remains the same,” he said.

The club hosts monthly braai nights where members can get to know each other and have fun doing so.
