Honour Wrestling Association will be bringing a fun-filled wrestling show to Hillfox Shopping Centre this Sunday (20 November). Young and old are invited to come and watch suplexes, choke slams, drop kicks and body slams on show, free of charge.
Wrestlers will be putting their bodies on the line with the goal not only to entertain the crowd but to bring back the golden-oldie days when wrestlers such as Danie Voges were respected and idolised.
The main events will see Xterminator put his World Championship title on the line when he faces The Ripper. It will then be icon taking on icon as 12-time Springbok Steve Eden takes on The Crow. The Jackal will be up against Mr Money and this will be followed by Boerseun taking on The Warlock.
This was a blockbuster year for HWA, which has so far hosted 19 shows with more still to come. This has made owner Steve van Eden proud of how much his association has grown.
“Our goal has always been to entertain because this is our passion and we see this as a way to give back to the community.
We have done this by hosting matches with the proceeds going to different charities. We want to lift the standard of wrestling so we can prevent career-ending injuries and such,” he said.
