Hendricks victorious in Tarlton

RoadCover cycling team all smiles after Wilro Cycle Challenge

Clint Hendricks was in immaculate form as he sprinted his way to the finish line and clinched the Elite Men’s 114km race in the Wilro Lions Cycle Challenge. The RoadCover Cycling team rider who was in second position at last year’s event, finished the race in a time of 2:46:27, just a hair’s length ahead of Luso Cycling teams’ Calvin Beneke who also crossed the line in 2:46:27.

A second behind the first two finishers was Rand Water Velokaya rider Thulasizwe Mxenge in a time of 2:46:28. Defending champion and RoadCover rider Nolan Hoffman could only manage a fourth place finish in 2:46:28, the same time as Mxenge.
