Tiaan Naude was named U/15 backline player of the year in the recent Clover Schools’ Tournament. The Hoërskool Bastion pupil was also the captain of his team during the tournament.
Bastion can boast with the fact that nine of their players have been selected to be part of the Clover Teams. In the U/15A team, Alex Roberts, Jandre Venter, Louis Viljoen, Tiaan, Raymon Seepamere and Robbie Snyman made the grade.
In the U/18A team, the school has one representative, Bradley Davel, while Chandre van der Berg and Riaan de Jager made the U/18B team. The teams will be facing teams from Kwazulu-Natal this month.
