Mia’s sleek dance moves

This dancer has the right moves

Maragon Private Schools‘ pupil Mia Earle-Robertson took part in the National Dance Championships held at Carnival City earlier this month.

She competed in her age group (12–15 years) against girls from across the country. Mia competed in the solo hip-hop category with over 70 other girls, and made it to the quarter finals.

She and her partner competed in the duo hip-hop category with more than 50 other duos, and got through to the semi-finals.

Mia also danced in the mini crew hip-hop in a group named Junior Perfection. This crew achieved second place and received silver medals. She was awarded another silver medal for her part in the mega street crew category, in a crew named Forbidden, which impressed the judges with their sleek dance moves.
