Bradley like a fish in water

Bradley a swimming sensation

Intense training, hard work and perseverance have set Bradley Bloem apart from his competition.

This Maragon Private Schools‘ pupil has achieved well beyond what is normally expected of a 17-year-old boy.

This season, Bradley competed in the South African Youth Olympic long course trials in Durban. He clocked in his personal best times of the season. In the 100m butterfly, he came in in a time of 1:01:26. He followed that up with a 25:33 in the 50m freestyle, and a 2:05:04 in the 200m freestyle.

Bradley has been training under the guidance of Dean Price at Mandeville Dolphins for the past two years. He has been awarded the Level 3 Coaches award and the First Place Age Group Trophy by the club.

To top it all off, Bradley is ranked 9th in his age group in South Africa for the 50m freestyle.
