Three hockey stars from Maragon Private Schools made a name for themselves during the July school holidays. They represented Southern Gauteng at the Inter-provincial Tournament, and excelled.
Jennifer Young enjoyed her experience in the U/14A Southern Gauteng team. The team was on top form during the tournament and was crowned champions of the division.
Caylin Barendsen was selected to represent the U/16C Southern Gauteng team. She was given the opportunity to captain the team and personally scored 7 goals during the tournament, helping her team secure third position overall.
Mpho Komane played for the U/14B Southern Gauteng team. Her performance helped her team finish in seventh place.
