RANDPARK – Rugby legends come together in a day of four-ball golf.
Two sports were combined under the winter sun for a very special day of golf at Randpark Golf Club.
On 15 June the Springbok Supporter’s Club hosted a golf day in partnership with the SA Rugby Legends Association. Some very special names in SA rugby were partnered with 22 four-ball alliances.
The event created a perfect opportunity for Springbok players to network and enjoy the day with fellow rugby lovers. The almost 100 players had a shotgun start for the day of 18 holes. A dinner and prize-giving ceremony finished off the day. Former Springbok wing, Breyton Paulse said that the Springboks received a lot of negative feedback after losing to Ireland the past weekend.
“We want to show that we still are great supporters of the Springboks and that they will make a comeback this weekend against Ireland,” said Paulse.
