Two Maragon girls recently participated in an Indoor Hockey tournament in which their team was the overall victor.
Maragon Private Schools’ Li-Ane Pitzer and Akhulu Angora were part of the BHA Indoor Girls’ Franchise team that won the Series 15 last month. The team, which won four out of five finals, had finalists in all age groups.
They came home with a silver medal in the U/11 category, and gold in the U/13, U/14, U/16 and U/18 categories.
The team was coached by Charlene Hackett and Grant Poulton.
