Constantia Kloof Primary School’s Caitlyn de Ponte, Keslyn Leong-Colom and Zena Captieux qualified for the D12 District girls hockey team.
Caitlyn was involved in the U/12 team while Keslyn and Zena are in the U/13 team.
The girls together with the rest of their teammates will be working hard as they prepare to participate in numerous regional competition in the next few weeks.
Their coach and teacher Karen Green was elated at the success of her pupils.
“It is a proud moment for our school that our hockey players will represent the district. They have been working tirelessly during the trials and now it has paid off,” she said.
