Maragon Private Schools’ Ogechi Zulu was one of 30 pupils to make it into the u/13 Gauteng Netball Team.
This follows weeks of trials which included the District team (D12) and participated in the JOMO (Johannesburg and Mogale) regional trials.
Zulu will now be part of the provincial team that will participate at the National All Ages competition later this year.
She participated in the trials along with her schools teammates Morgan de Jager and Zenadia Sjibesma.
They had to show off their skills against pupils from areas such as Tshwane, Sedibeng and Ekhuruleni.
