Hockey girls bring success to school team

Maragon Private School’s girls hockey first team won the Waterstone Festival earlier this month.

They were participating in the festival which saw over 1000 pupils from more than 24 schools around the country.

Maragon’s hockey girls faced off in the final against Bloemfontein’s Brebner High School.

It was smooth sailing for the Maragon players as they scored seven goals past the Brebner High.

The final finished with a scoreline of 7-0 giving victory to Maragon.
