Maragon’s Netball team in Easter Festival

Netball festival in Pretoria to prepare for upcoming season

Maragon Private School’s netball teams were busy this past Easter holidays.

They participated in two separate netball festival.

The U/14A, U/15A and U/16A netball teams took part in the annual Barloworld Klofie-Netball Festival that was held at Hoërskool Waterkloof in Pretoria from the 18 to 23 March.

More than 123 teams, 42 schools and 1230 netball players from all over South Africa and Namibia participated in the festival.

The festival gave each individual player and the teams the opportunity to improve their netball skills and combinations before the start of the netball season.

The aim of the festival is to play maximum games per day, and no winner was announced at the end of the tournament.

The festival was open for netball players all over South Africa and Namibia and took place at, with played in the festival.

Maragon’s three teams played 19 matches during the week.
