Florida Trezona Squash Club looking for new members to join
The Florida Trezona Squash Club is opening up its gates to welcome new talent to the club.
The club has been in existence since the 1960s.
Although the club has gone through some tough times recently including the theft of two gate motors and a camera, this has not clouded the spirit of the club.
With immaculate courts for athletes to work up a sweat, the club offers it’s members a safe environment to enjoy a game of squash.
The club may not be competing in the provincial league but to make up for it, members participate in a interclub round robin competition every Tuesdays and Thursdays.
“What makes this club special is the environment we offer to our members. We have fun and enjoy ourselves here. It is really a family oriented club. The camaraderie that is found here between the members is amazing. Squash is the kind of sport where once you start playing, you can’t stop,” said the club’s committee member Mannie Liebman who works with Craig Morton.
