The South African Indoor Netball Federation hosts the Open and Mixed Provincial Open’s Tournament from 14 to 20 February at the Hillfox Action Sports Arena.
Male and female netball players came out in their masses from all over the country to participate in this tournament. The management from the action sports arena welcomed coaches, players and teams to enjoy an injury-free week of netball at the arena.
The itinerary of the week boasts a variety of mixed, male and female games with either seven players or six players to a side. Players from Boland, Central Gauteng, Eastern Gauteng, Southern Gauteng, Western Gauteng, Gauteng North, Kwazulu Natal, Free State, Western Province and the Vaal played fast-paced action games. Each game has four, 10 minute quarters.
Players and supporters filled the arena, eager to throw the ball around. Voices of encouragement were everywhere. Owner, Graeme Hare said that all the players will be present on one court on 20 February for the prize-giving ceremony.
