The Roodepoort Angling Club (RAC) ended their year with a final prize-giving ceremony at Muggs Inn Goldman Street on Saturday, 5 December.
The prize-giving started off with a Fisherman’s prayer from John Guerini, chairperson at the RAC which was followed by a heartwarming speech as he thanked his members and sponsors for their diligence and commitment.
“I am proud to say the RAC has dedicated fishermen who will give everything to fish,” said John Guerini, chairperson at the RAC.
He added the anglers are so passionate about fishing that they endured the cold winter weather in order to catch the perfect fish.
