Gymnastics in Serbia

Tamsyn Bessit and Somien Botha are currently representing the South African Gymnastics Federation at the Novi Sad competition in Serbia.

The gymnasts are participating in the Junior section and are accompanied by their coach Adele Hein.

The two gymnasts will be competing against athletes from 10 different European countries in all apparatus.

Both girls made this weeks bar finals.

“They have been focusing on the competition. Tamsyn and Somien both had a great competition in the 2003 and 2002 section against some strong opposition. There is still a job to be done. They have already accumulated a wealth of experience participating in the competition,” said Hein.
