Florries Running Club working hard

The Florida Running Club are hard at work as they prepare to participate in the Juma Mountain Bike race next month.

The club participated in the event for the first time last year. This year they are back to compete for glory in the 22 and 54 kilometre races.

The club tries to participate in as many road races as possible and even compete in the Park Runs.

Every Sundays, the club hosts their 4 and 8 kilometre races where all runners and riders are invited to participate.

Three of their athletes have been training to participate in the 50-51 Standard Bank Triathlon in November.

Pam Sullivan, Tessa Schellard and Wendy Joubert will be participating in the in the event.

The club was also proud when member Chris Jansen won the 100 Miler Legends race earlier this year.
