Princess High stumbles at last hurdle

Princess High School settle for second place in D12 championships

Princess High School had to settle for second place as they were beaten in the District 12 (D12) Soccer Championship final two weeks ago.

They were up against Allen Glen High School who were playing in their own backyard.

The tough match only came alive in the second half as Princess High were the first to get on the score sheet.

However, they would not be able to hang onto their lead as Allen Glen leveled matters soon.

After the equalizer, the home side then doubled their lead.

The match ended 2 –1 in favour of Allen Glen and saw them crowned as District Champions.

They will go on to represent the district against other districts in August.
