Discovery Bowls dominates in District team

The Discovery Bowling Club has reason to boast as 16 of their members have been chosen to be part of the team that will represent the Sables Dsitrict in the Inter- Districts Championships 2015 next month.
In the men’s open side, Johnson Loabile, Morgan Muvhango, JJ Bedford-Owen and Mervyn-Lynn Junior have been selected while Rika Lynn, Ute Smith, Gaylyn Bedford-Owen, Cilla Wilsenach and Moira Coomb will be playing in the women’s open side.
In the men’s B side, Louis Fourie and Corey Tagg made the team and Karen Johnston will be part of the women’s B side.
Richard Miller was selected in the Senior Men’s team with Rob McLarty as his manager. Siblings Nometha and Thobela Muvhango will follow in their father Morgan’s footsteps when they will play as part of the U/19 team.
The Sables District team is made up of players from eight clubs in the district.
The open men and women’s team will travel to Port Natal, the B men & women to Bowls Gauteng North and the senior men and women’s team will travel to George and Oudtshoorn.
