Do you have a football star on your hands?

HONEYDEW — The Eagle Canyon Soccer Club is back with new changes.

The Eagle Canyon fun soccer club will be back in March this year, for little football enthusiasts.

Now in its third year, the club will offer soccer skills training twice a week from 4.30pm to 5.30pm.

The club’s head coach, Peter Grgin, says things will be a little different this year for the members.

“Previously, the club was open to the children who lived at the estate but now, it is open to the public. We organise matches for the teams and provide them with kits. All our coaches are well-trained and it is a great environment for the children.”

Children can be enrolled from as young as three years old and Grgin says their oldest member is just 11 years old.

He adds, “The club is open to girls and boys and parents can drop them off in a fun and enjoyable environment.”

The soccer club allows children to learn and interact with other children in a safe place. The world of sports also instills discipline and social skills that can be used in the real world.
