Davidsonville tennis to make a racquet

It’s all systems go for the Davidsonville Tennis Club who will be officially opening their courts later this month.

The club will host a tournament in celebration of the occasion.

Although training during the festive season has been limited, the club played a few games amongst themselves to get more practice.

“Most clubs are closed during the December period so we could not hold any competitive games and the heat also played a big part in the limited training but we were active,” said coach Charles Visser.

The tournament on 31 January will be attended by Tennis South Africa and various other sponsors.
