Niang moves to Sundowns, Johnson not worried.

Johnson won't 'lose any sleep' because he believes he has players that will perform just as well as Niang.

SuperSport United coach Cavin Johnson says he is not worried at the prospect of losing Mame Niang to cross-town rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.

Niang, one of Matsatsantsa’s most effective players last season, looks set to join Sundowns in a swap deal which will see Dove Wome moving in the opposite direction.

Johnson is unfazed by the potential deal and believes he will be able to replace Niang.

“For me it is about football, if Mame is able to go to Sundowns and do well for them then I wish him all the best,” Johnson said.

“If football moves the players around then I wish them the best. And if I lose Mame, I’m not going to lose any sleep because I got the players who I think can do the job as well.

“You got to be confident with yourself that there is always teams that will come and buy your players and you will always go and buy other teams’ players. That’s the nature of the game.”
