Second Zambian for AmaZulu?

Bruce Musakanya has a trial for AmaZulu

Zambia national team winger Bruce Musakanya is expected to arrive at Premier Soccer League side AmaZulu any day now for a trial.

The 20-year-old was recalled by his parent club Red Arrows from Nkana on Wednesday where he was nearing the end of his six-month loan deal with the 2013 Zambian champions.

“The information that we have from the Arrows secretary is that he is going for trials at AmaZulu,” Nkana club secretary Ken Mwansa said.

“But we are told they also have other interest from another South African club who want him on an outright purchase.”

Musakanya burst onto the scene at the 2013 Cosafa Cup hosted by Zambia where he helped Chipolopolo to a 2-0 victory in the finals against Zimbabwe last July in Ndola.

The winger has scored two goals for Nkana during his six-month loan stint with the Zambian champions.

AmaZulu have already signed one Zambian for the new season in 22-year-old striker Bornwell Mwape.
