Anderson secures second win

South African tennis star Kevin Anderson registered his second win at The Boodles Challenges in Stoke Park in the United Kingdom when he defeated Jack Sock from the United States on Wednesday afternoon.

Anderson won the first set 6-4 and Sock responded to clinch the second 3-6 before the South African rallied back to win the decider 10-6, maintaining his winning record after beating Dominic Thiem 6-4 7-6 on Tuesday.

Earlier in the day, Milos Raonic bounced back from his opening-day defeat to Ernests Gulbis by beating Robin Haase 4-6 6-4 10-5.

Philipp Kohlschreiber also needed a third set decider to beat Italy’s Fabio Fognini 7-5 4-6 10-4.

Anderson will not be involved during day three on Thursday but there will be exciting matchups with Novak Djokovic get his campaign underway against Haase.

Fognini will then look to pull off an upset against Gulbis, while Thiem and Sock will be eyeing their first wins after failing to beat Anderson.
