Two titles will be up for grabs this coming weekend when the people’s favourite, Mr Wrestling takes on the current and double champ in the African Punishment Wrestling Association (APWA), Steve Eden.
On Friday 1 November APWA again brings you some mouthwatering and live wrestling action that will take place at the Danie van Zyl Recreation Centre from 7.30pm.
While there is a big lineup scheduled for the night, the fight on everybody’s lips is the battle between Steve Eden as he faces the fan favourite Mr Wrestling. For the first time, the 12-time amateur champion will not be the fan favourite. How will Eden react, and will Mr Wrestling capture the gold he has so long been denied?
Another interesting match will be LoudMouth vs his tag-team partner Dirty Jackson. This dangerous alliance has been shown to be individually brilliant, but fragmented and volatile. Don’t forget that Dirty Jackson lost the very first jailhouse rock match to LoudMouth. The winner of this bout will become the number one contender for the APWA championship.
For the first time for the last time Zizou Midoux will be matched against his father Thierry Midoux. The last time these two met they almost tore Danie Van Zyl down to the ground. This time there will be no second chances, no second guessing and no seconds to catch your breath.
Tickets are R30 per person and are available at the entrance. Children under five can enter for free. Gates open at 7pm.
