My concern is regarding the current situation at the Florida Licencing Department.
My husband has just been swindled out of thousands of rand there. We are of the opinion that employees and a security woman are in on it.
A similar incident is described on page 4 of the Roodepoort Record we have received today. Those people use the same modus operandi. I’ve just googled the Florida Licencing Department, and the same scams have been reported on for years, without any attempt to address the matter, it seems. I would really appreciate your feedback and intervention as the most vulnerable are targeted. We have lost a lot of hard-earned money, and as difficult as it is, we need to live with it.
As ratepayers, we do request that these criminals as well as the inefficiencies of the City employees are dealt with.
