We cannot rely on the ‘leaders’ at the top

According to the Roodepoort Old People’s Forum ( ROPF), “Living standards need improvement.”

Really! Just going back a few years, the chairman of ROPF, Willie van der Schyf, said that the Princess informal settlement would become a township with proper houses, schools, shops and roads.

He switched from the DA to the ANC in order to be able to do more. The only thing that has happened at the informal settlement is that it has become bigger and now spreads across the road to the railway line.

People are living in appalling conditions which are a disgrace to South Africa, under the ‘leadership’ of the ANC government.

If we expect improvements in living standards, we are not going to see them happen under Willie’s ‘leadership’.

We cannot rely on him or any of the ANC, where ‘leaders’ from the very top are only looking after themselves.

The new ANC President needs to weed out these useless individuals and replace them with those that can do the work, not talk about it.
