No thanks for the warning about hand-made signs

Rosemary Mocke from Roodepoort writes:

I note with surprise the reaction of the ward councillor to the ‘homemade signs’ warning of the massive potholes in Albert Street.

At her request, after contacting her about this issue, I reported the matter to the JRA on its app a week ago. To date I have not had an intelligent response from either the JRA or the councillor.

Perhaps the councillor should thank whoever is trying to warn of the danger to vehicles and probably human life and make an effort herself to inspect and get something done about the problem.

This road carries heavy rush-hour traffic especially since the work being carried out on JG Strydom Road began.

Thank you, whoever put up the warnings. No thanks to JRA or our local DA councillor.
