Motorcycle theft is getting out of hand

I have noted with concern the rate at which motorcycles are being stolen in and around the area.

Having been a victim myself last year and again this past week it is disheartening that even if the cases are reported, nothing seems to be happening.

I reported the theft to Florida Police Station and they never bothered to come to my home and perhaps get fingerprints. It was the same in October last year. I only received an SMS with the case number and never heard from the police again until recently when I went to report another motorcycle theft..

I really hope that the police would take our cases seriously as we are being terrorised by these thieves. It’s really affecting our lovely community.
