It needs to be taken care of

What is happening to the state of our roads?

Potholes are becoming a danger. The holes are left for such a long time that they become larger, causing cars to swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid damaging their tyres. The other day I narrowly escaped a serious accident for this exact reason.

Does the council not realise that people can get seriously injured? When are they going to see to it that the roads are repaired properly – not just patched up quickly? The patches do not last long. Why not fix the road properly to begin with and then not worry about that section of road for many years?

Lockies Street in Florida is a prime example of this as they keep patching it up, but the holes keep appearing again.

I hope that someone will take care of this issue soon before innocent people lose their lives because of the municipality’s negligence.
