The Roodepoort SPCA sells quality second-hand books at the Palm Court Centre on the first Saturday of every month, weather permitting.
We would like to thank the management and tenants for the opportunity to have our book sales at the centre. The people who shop at the centre are fantastic. They support us with the much-needed funds we require to care for the animals at our facility. The Roodepoort SPCA receives no income from government and therefore depends on donations from the community.
It is a meaningful gesture that allows us to be present so we are able to promote the cause of the SPCA as well as raise funds for the Roodepoort SPCA. We also have an animal hospital which is registered with the South Africa Veterinary Council. It has assisted thousands of animals that otherwise would have suffered due to their owners not being able to afford veterinary fees.
Dates of the next book sales are 1 April, 6 May and 3 June from 8.30am until about 12 noon.
Please come and support us. Without your support we cannot help all those helpless animals.
