Referring to the letter regarding “Metro Rail is unreliable” I agree with Owen Jordaan with all that he been writing.

Not even the ticket examiners are from no help, just want to chat with private people and do not listen to your problem, just kept on chatting with other people.The audio (speakers) on the station are being used to play radio on the station in stead to communicate with the commuters.

Some stations between Johannesburg and Randfontein are being used for a gathering place for people to committing crime and then there no security in place to protect the commuters on station. Some stations there are no access control, people just walking in and jumping on the trains without any tickets.

Why can all stations be upgraded the same as Roodepoort Station.Some stations when you want to buy a ticket, the ticket office been closed and no ticket examiner nearby to assist you for the necessary ticket.Metro Rail just wan more money for a poor service that should be a reliable transport network, but of no help.
