I would like to respond to the letter in the Roodepoort Record, dated Friday, 20 March written by Angelique Van Zyl. I would like to commiserate with her and was totally shocked and appalled at the event that happened to her on the 2 March.

I sincerely hope her little ones are alright as well as herself. The woman that she described sounded evil, wicked and totally immoral. No one deserves to be treated in this manner. My question to this woman is why invade someone else’s space when you have the entire car park to park in especially when you could clearly see she was busy getting her children out of her vehicle?

As far the Shopping Centre concerned they should be outraged at the event that took place and should re-scan all their security guards just to make sure incidents like this do NOT happen again. As far as the police are concerned, I’m sorry to say they can’t even catch a cold!
