I would like to place on record the appreciation of Rod and Ian Gilley for the most professional manner in which the sport article on the pair of us has been presented in the Roodepoort record issue of 14 November.
Firstly as a Constantia Kloof resident, of a period exceeding 40 years and secondly as a most substantial Caxton shareholder. It is indeed most pleasing to note the growing quality of the Roodepoort record’s presentation and content under your stewardship.
Although having personally thanked your colleague Mathilde Myburgh for her professionalism and extremely pleasant manner in which she conducts herself on the phone, it would indeed be remiss of me not to bring these attributes to yourself as Editor and executive management at Caxton, whom I personally will be communicating with next week as arranged.
We will be in communication with your publication after the running of the 94.7 Momentum Cycle Race this coming Sunday to forward a summary of the race details.
