Pathways appreciates the generosity

During the winter break many wishes were granted in readiness for our new term.

In the past few weeks leading up to Mandela Day, Pathways Roodepoort once more has felt the generosity of the community. During the winter break many wishes were granted in readiness for our new term.

Our classrooms are wonderfully bright after a new lick of paint sponsored by Prominent Paint at Princess Crossing, and our children’s play area has been re-surfaced with rubber matting. Security has been beefed up through the installation of Trellidoors throughout the school and our swimming pool now has a pool net.

A huge thank you goes to RMB for the sponsorship of the rubber matting, pool net and Trellidoors after Master Rubber, Tonic Doors and Aqua Net gave us fantastic discounts. On Mandela Day, FNB volunteers joined us for a wonderful lunch, sponsored by Fournos Bakery. Thanks to FNB for sponsoring us a Zozo hut, we now have a wonderful space in which to set up a new sensory room.

Through a donation of concrete from Afrisam we now have concrete ramps and paths, which make our classrooms wheelchair-accessible.

These wonderful gifts have made a great start to our new term. From Pathways Roodepoort we’d like to say a huge thank you to the above companies for showing us the spirit of Mandela Day!
