Charles and staff from Bergen’s Appliance Repairs and Spares in Struben’s Valley went out of their way to assist me with my Defy oven which gave me a problem. On my first visit, they sold me a control switch which I thought was the problem. Back home, I discovered it was not the problem and went back to Bergen’s who kindly refunded me.
They then gave me a bridging wire to check if it was the thermostat. That again turned out not to be the problem. They then offered to collect the oven for inspection. Charles phoned me back and said that they could not find any fault with the oven and returned it to me. I eventually discovered that a loose connection in the stove was the problem.
On asking what the charges were, he told me I don’t have to pay anything. I was surprised and also so impressed with the wonderful and friendly service I received from Bergen’s in Struben’s Valley. Thank you Charles, and the rest of the staff, I will recommend you any day.
