With the school term reaching its end, Nova Pioneer Ruimsig celebrated it by taking a break from the books and enjoying the great outdoors by participating in a dress-up day.
The annual Book Character Dress-Up Day returned with a bang, surpassing last year’s festivities in both scale and enthusiasm. The learners and staff both indulged in the joy of bringing literary icons to life, transforming the school grounds into a vibrant tapestry of imagination and creativity.
According to Carla Hercules, the head of Nova Pioneer Ruimsig, the enthusiasm and dedication displayed by participants underscored the enduring appeal of literature and its power to captivate the hearts and minds of both learners and educators.
“It was a fun and creative way to see what type of book characters are loved the most. This year’s event saw a remarkable increase in participation, with a diverse array of characters from beloved novels gracing the halls,” Carla said.
