It was cloudy with a chance of excitement oozing in the air as learners of The King’s School West Rand spent their last day of school engaging in a variety of activities.
According to Michelle Dos Ramos, the school’s marketing manager, the school participated in a variety of fun activities such as volleyball, swimming, and war cries.
“They loved being able to just have fun on their last day before midterm break. The weather was perfect, and the learners loved being outside,” she says.
The class that won overall in volleyball was Mandla Dube’s Grade Eight class. The class celebrated their victory with music and chanting war cries.
“My learners showed that they can win both in their school books and in any competitive activity. I am proud to call them my register class,” Dube said.
