Nova Pioneer hosts its sports day festival
Nova Pioneer hosts an inter-schools sports festival for all senior high schools.
On March 2, Nova Pioneer Ruimsig held a Sports Festival which comprised Ruimsig Senior, Midrand Senior, Ormonde, Northriding and Paulshof Senior Secondary Schools.
According to Carla Hercules, the principal of Nova Pioneer Ruimsig, this was an excellent opportunity for all of the Nova Pioneer high schools to join together for a day of sportsmanship and collaboration. Learners and parents were delighted when they arrived, and the air was filled with anticipation and joy.
“It was lovely to see our Nova Pioneer schools connect and establish positive relationships,” she added.
Midrand Senior School won the netball, while Ormonde Senior School won the soccer. Teams and parents cheered and supported each other and look forward to many more sporting events.
