Grade 12 learner talks about leaving high school

Many learners are leaving school and entering a new phase of their lives, one such learner shares her feelings.

Ropafadzo Charmain Nzvanzvike, a Grade 12 learner at The King’s School Discovery shares her hopes and dreams for the future.

“After high school, the world is my oyster. The possibilities are endless, and I am filled with excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead. My plans after high school involve pursuing higher education and embarking on a journey of self-discovery.

“Firstly, I plan to attend university to further my education. I believe that obtaining a degree will open doors to various opportunities and provide me with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in my chosen field. University will not only broaden my horizons academically but also allow me to meet new people from diverse backgrounds, fostering personal growth and cultural understanding. Additionally, I aspire to travel during my university years.

“Exploring different countries and experiencing new cultures will expand my worldview and help me gain a deeper appreciation for diversity. Traveling will also provide valuable life experiences that cannot be learned inside a classroom. Furthermore, after completing my undergraduate studies, I intend to pursue postgraduate education or professional certifications to specialise in my chosen field.

“Continuous learning is crucial for personal development and staying relevant in an ever-evolving world. Ultimately, my plans after High School revolve around personal growth, academic achievements, cultural exploration, and lifelong learning. By following this path, I hope to build a successful career while also making meaningful contributions to society,” she said.
