This is what Roodepoort Primary learners are looking forward to in 2024

The Roodepoort Record visited Roodepoort Primary and chatted with some of their learners about what they are looking forward to for the new year.

This is what they had to say:

• Johannes Rachuene: “I look forward to starting a new chapter of my life and a new personality because I didn’t complete my goals and dreams which were to improve, rise, bring up, and earn the respect of this school by becoming the head boy. I want to make new life goals and life dreams for the coming new year; I need to earn, achieve, complete, and express how it is to feel complete in life. It is important to me that people love and care about me and that I don’t disappoint them as I care about how I make people feel. I want people to look up to me. I am also looking forward to making new friends and getting good grades in my subjects. I am looking forward to being a good person, changing people’s lives, being a role model to the younger ones as well as enjoying and celebrating myself.”

• Brooklyn Swartz: “I am excited because I am finally done with primary school. I am excited to meet and make new friends, but I will also miss my primary school friends very much. God is always with me and I know that the bullies will stay away from me in high school.”
