Late great motors on display

The Late Great Motor Association held a successful classic car show celebrating nearly three decades of meticulous vehicle restoration, showcasing the craftsmanship of classic cars for younger generations, and sparking nostalgia for older attendees.

The Late Great Motor Association hosted another highly successful classic car show at Sterlig Nursery on October 26.

The club has been in existence for the past 28 years, and members pride themselves on the hours of meticulous restoration that went into getting their vehicles in showroom condition.

According to club chairperson Bryan Cawley, these classic car shows are all about showing the younger generations the beauty and craftsmanship that went into the design and building of the cars.

“For older people, the car shows remind them of their youth.”

Bryan’s wife, club treasurer Joey, boasts that her car has been part of the club the longest.

“It is the only car that has been part of the club since its establishment 28 years ago.”

Joey is also the longest-serving female member of the club.
